While we are on quarantine, we probably have all sorts of cravings — Samgyeopsal, Milk Tea, Hotpot, Chicken Joy and more... At this very moment, I am craving for steak. LOL! Maybe once everything's okay and ECQ is already lifted, the first thing I'll probably do is to go on a food trip. 🙂
Our go-to steak place is either Mamou or Planet Grapes. For budget steaks, we love Meat Depot (the one in Podium). For a change, PJ & I tried 22 Prime — the flagship restaurant of Discovery Suites Ortigas. My office is situated around Ortigas area, so the location of this restaurant is very much accessible.
🍴 Rib-eye Steak (USDA Certified Prime Grade Angus Beef)
Price: Php 2,350+ for 400g
We actually enjoyed eating this Rib-eye steak! It's tender, easy to slice, flavorful & juicy inside. Another thing noteworthy is that they have a good selection of sauces. This is actually good for sharing (2 pax), so we just ordered additional mashed potato and truffle pasta on the side.
🍴 Lobster Truffle Macaroni and Cheese
Price: Php 425+
This one tastes okay, but I like Mamou's Truffle pasta better.
