The Osmeña Peak was our last destination on our second day of stay in South Cebu. We traveled all the way from Moalboal, Alegria, Oslob, to Dalaguete only via habal-habal. Can you imagine how tired were we?
Measuring approximately 1000 meters above sea level, the Osmeña Peak is the highest peak in South Cebu. It is part of Mantalungon mountain range with appearance that reminds me of Bohol's Chocolate Hills. Its peaks are just thinner and pointed.
Osmeña Peak, Dalaguete, Cebu |
Our tour guide dropped us off at the Osmeña Peak trail head. Before we started our hike, we passed by the Osmeña Peak Tourism Center to pay our entrance fees.
Hiking up to the peak from the starting point was fairly easy. It took us only around 20 to 30 minutes to reach the summit.
Welcome to Osmeña Peak signage. Let the hike begin! |
On our way to Osmeña Peak... |
We can't stop taking pictures along the way. Here's my friend Pai! She was the most excited for this activity! Hiking is not really our (me and Nishi) thing. LOL |
We were not yet at the peak, but we were already seeing a beautiful view. |
Haggard na mga bes! |
Groupfieeeee |
Pai: "Lapit na us!" Angel and Nish: "Swimming na lang tayo ulit". |
Still smiling (despite feeling so tired). It was a very long day, indeed! |
Serious mode. Angel and Nish to our tour guide: "Lapit na po ba talaga?" |
Probably our most decent groupfie! #talikogenic |
Finally, we're here!!! The summit/ peak. It was damn beautiful! |
Discovered that I have a slight fear of heights. Can't move huhu |
Yes, she really enjoyed this activity. Look at her smile!! |
My favorite picture!! From the Osmeña Peak, you can view the Pescador Island. |
Ooh la la, my hair. haha (Mahangin sa labas!) |
How are ya nish?? |
Another proof that she was so happy. (she must have really enjoyed this. Well, I did too) |
