By Angel Macaraig - Sunday, May 21, 2017
While many Filipino parents recognize the need to prepare healthier dishes for their children, today's demanding and hectic world challenges their ability to do so. In response to this, last May 18, California Raisins held a media briefing to share how it can help parents prepare delicious, healthy and attractive dishes for their children, just in time for the start of the coming school year.

"California Raisins are fat and cholesterol free, low in sodium, and naturally sweet with no added sugar," said Richard Lieu, Trade and Promotions Director of the Raisin Administrative Committee. "California Raisins are versatile enough to be added as natural sweeteners to various recipes that children can take as baons for school".
Aside from the health benefits it can provide, California Raisins can also make school meals more delicious. Parents can combine raisins with nuts, cereals and fruits to make energy bars, or add it in sandwich spreads along with chopped chicken, tuna or ham. California Raisins can also be served as their healthy snacks instead of other unhealthy treats.
