Uma Uma Ramen Opens Its 2nd Branch at Uptown Parade, BGC
By Angel Macaraig - Sunday, January 22, 2017
Few months after opening its first Philippine branch in Mall of Asia, Uma Uma has taken their MSG-free and mouth watering dishes to Uptown Parade, Bonifacio Global City - the more accessible location for my part since I work near the area.

The Restaurant
Uma Uma Ramen, which originated in Fukuoka, Japan, has more than 60 years of ramen-making experience. The restaurant's name stems from "Wu Maru", a ramen shop established by the father of Uma Uma Ramen's current President, Masahiko Teshima in 1953. Teshima took over the business in 1994, and renamed the restaurant to Uma Uma Ramen.
Known as a contemporary-casual restaurant, Uma Uma Ramen does not only feature dishes that centered around an age old family recipe, but also dishes found in most izayakas in Japan.
Currently, Uma Uma has a total of 2 branches in the Philippines: One in BGC, and the other one is located in Mall of Asia. They have 8 branches outside of the Philippines: 5 in Japan, 2 in Singapore, and 1 in Thailand.
