Here's another long overdue post! The whole fam bam flew to Davao City two years ago not only for a vacation but also to visit my sister who's already based in this city for work. You might have noticed in my previous posts that I prefer traveling in small groups. But since our family is big, we had no choice but to draft a [big] family-friendly itinerary (e.g., extreme adventures were scrapped off the list).
Day 1: Manila to Davao
š Afternoon flight from Manila to Davao (NAIA T4 to Francis Bangoy Int'l Airport)š Dinner at Patok Sa Manok
š Check-in at the hotel/ Rest early
Day 2: Samal Island
š Samal Island Day Trip (Paradise Island Resort)While searching online for options, I came across Paradise Island - one of the most accessible and affordable resorts in Samal. Paradise Island has its own private boat terminal located at Km. 9, Sasa Wharf. Boat service is from 5:30 AM to 5:00PM only. Boat fare is Php 20/ person (one way). From the wharf, the boat ride will take around 5-7 minutes.

We had our last meal here at Lachi's before we headed back to Manila!
I know, with the current situation (i.e., COVID-19 pandemic), traveling to local or international destinations is almost impossible (and also our least priority for now). Maybe when the pandemic is over soon, you'll find this itinerary useful. Please stay safe always! š
