It was January 15, 2022 (PJ's birthday) when I had my second ultrasound at around 5 months of my pregnancy. I was so thrilled to go to the clinic because, at that point, there was a big chance already that we will find out about our baby's gender.
The clinic staff handed me my ultrasound printout and results, including an envelope where the gender result was enclosed and sealed. Unfortunately, the clinic staff inserted the wrong printout, and the actual printout of the gender result was attached to my other results. Although I found out about the gender in advance accidentally, I kept the gender to myself for about a month as I still wanted to push through with the gender reveal party.
Since we just wanted a simple celebration, I looked for an affordable supplier and just set my budget to Php 4,000 or less. Luckily, I found Happy Hands Events thru Facebook Marketplace. Thank you, Happy Hands Events for the beautiful backdrop.
We also ordered a cake from our go-to cake shop, Daniel's Bakeshop. They have been our trusted cake supplier from birthday to wedding cakes, so it was a no-brainer to purchase our gender reveal cake from them. Thank you Daniel's Bakeshop for the pretty cake.

I still look surprised though despite knowing the gender in advance. Actually, it was my happy face as I really wanted a baby girl. Ngiting tagumpay! haha!
